Instead of constructing an endless to-do list of new year resolutions, this year I am venturing out and trying something new. Following the guidance of singer/songwriter Christine Kane, I have decided to select a [word of the year] to keep with me throughout 2009. After much reflection and contemplation I have chosen CLARITY:
know yourself. become attuned to what brings you happiness. study yourself. learn about what you love, and about your ability to love. focus on the small pleasures as you go through your day.
Here I will unleash my thoughts and my artistic creativity. By having them out and in the world for all to see rather than bottled up inside my mind I intend to [finally] become clear.
